A Philadelphia Proposal

When I talked to Scott about how he wanted to propose to his girlfriend, he shared that he wanted to propose to her while they were in Philadelphia. We talked over a few locations and then he decided he wanted to propose while they were mini golfing in Franklin Square. We agreed that this was a great and fun idea and I love how original it was.

When I arrived, I actually went up to the front desk and told them about what was happening and asked if I could walk around and pretend to be taking updated photos for their website so that if I was asked what I was doing I could give an answer–basically I wanted to hide in plain sight. Scott and I had talked about what hole he was going to propose at so when they got to the hole where he had planned it all, I told them my story and asked if they could hit a few golf balls so I could get some “action shots”. After they did this, I kept taking photos as Scott got down on one knee and asked Emily to be his wife. She said yes! After they took a few minutes to realize what had just happened we spent some time celebrating by taking some photos throughout Franklin Square.
